Fixing Strips – 20 Pack

Designed to secure CosyFloor heating cables directly to the subfloor when not using the CosyFloor Membrane System or Mat System. Our Fixing Strips feature tabs spaced 1 inch apart, allowing you to easily adjust the cable spacing to control heat output. While 3-inch spacing is standard, you can adjust between 2 and 4 inches depending on your heating needs. After securing the fixing strips to the ends of the room, install additional fixing strips in parallel rows at 5’ intervals. These strips should span the entire area where you plan to lay the yellow heating cable, ensuring the yellow heating cable is securely held in its intended pattern throughout the room.

• For plywood or OSB subfloor: Fixing Strips can be screwed directly into the wood subfloor; no backerboard is required.
• For concrete subfloor: Use a contact adhesive such as 3M 90 to adhere fixing strips to concrete subfloor.
• Compatible with all CosyFloor heating cables. Not necessary for use with Mat or Membrane systems.
